What happens if earthing is not given?

Well, the answer to this question is so straightforward that is electrical hazards such as electrical shocks, short circuits and so on will be inevitable. The most important thing is if earthing is not installed. Nothing is going to protect you from lightning. Now let us look into thing one by one. To begin with

Electrical Shocks:

                      Let us start with the facts. Electricity is something that cannot be seen with the naked eye. So, if these fault currents are present on non-current carrying parts of an electrical device, they will undoubtedly go unnoticed. As a result of the electrical shocks, they will be inescapable. Solution:

The only solution for this problem is to install earthing. I will explain to you the reason also. As we know, the process of connecting all the non-current carrying parts of an electrical appliance by a low resistive wire and later connecting it to a  earthing rod that is installed onto the earth is called earthing. This is going to help in the process of discharge the fault currents present on the non-current carrying parts to earth. Therefore electrical shocks are avoided.

Short Circuits:

                            In most of the case, electrical appliances are enclosing. This makes it hard to identify the short circuits, which may further cause fire accidents. 

Solution:

Lightening:   

                 As we are all aware, lightning is a natural occurrence. As a result, it is unavoidable. If you are living in high altitudes the risk of a lightning strike is going to increase.

                  I’m not saying I know everything, but if there is one thing I am clear of, it is that earthing is the only way to protect you from lightning.
